That's right, the boys at NASA are at it again! This time they're bringing space to us with “Astronaut: Moon, Mars and Beyond.” NASA hasn't yet revealed too many details yet but has said it is currently partnered with developer Virtual Heroes with plans to create an educational MMO. Virtual Heroes will be using Unreal Engine 3 similar to the popular America's Army game produced by the Department of Defense. Unlike America's Army, which is free, Astronaut will be subscription based. When asked to comment about the game, Daniel Laughlin, Ph.D, project manager at the NASA Learning Technologies, said:

"We want to create a fun, compelling gaming experience that will give players the chance to learn about science and engineering careers while they play the game. NASA is committed to attracting more students to science, technology, engineering and mathematics fields of study and careers. We hope the game will inspire players to consider those careers."
